MATELEC
What is MATELEC?
MATELEC is an electrical equipment distributor based in Conakry, Guinea. We are an official distributor of major brands, including Legrand, Schneider Electric, APC, Nexans, Prysmian and Philips, and we supply individuals, electrical installers and businesses.

Where are your shops?
Our warehouse and showroom are in Coleah, Route du Niger, Matam, opposite the Cité Douane (between Areeba and Société Générale), in Conakry. We also have a shop in Kaloum, Boulevard de la Nation.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. Closed on Sundays. The same hours apply to both our shops, Coleah and Kaloum.
Orders and quotes
Do you sell to individuals?
Yes. We serve individuals as well as electrical installers, businesses and large projects.
How do I get a price?
Our prices are given on request. Send your equipment list through the contact form, by email to vente1@matelec-gn.com or call +224 612 15 23 23. Each product page on the website also has an “Add to my quote request” button.
Where can I download your catalogue?
The MATELEC 2025 catalogue can be downloaded as a PDF from www.matelec-gn.com/catalogue.
Delivery and payment
Do you deliver in Conakry?
Yes. Delivery is free in Conakry.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Orange Money, bank transfer and bank card.
Services
Do you offer studies and installation?
Yes. We carry out electrical installation studies compliant with the NF C 15-100 standard, build custom switchboards up to 2,500 A and support implementation. We also carry out installations, for example of generators or automatic transfer switches: see our projects.
Do you provide UPS maintenance?
Yes. We offer UPS maintenance and after-sales service. Contact us for a maintenance contract.
Do you have an offer for electricians?
Yes. MATELEC trains installers and offers a loyalty programme for electricians. Ask in store or by phone.
